The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT) is coming to Falls Church in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This Accredited 2-day intensive professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage.

Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage prepares students to become successful massage therapists through an integrative approach to science, massage and bodywork. Students will gain a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques to prepare them in the field of massage therapy. Graduates of the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage will be thoroughly prepared to sit for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Examination.

The Liddle Kidz® Foundation Certification course is an intense, fun and effective way to master the core skills of pediatric massage.

Founded by master teacher and philanthropist Tina Allen, the Liddle Kidz® Foundation offers a new, comprehensive, research based training course and teaches students what they really need to know to provide pediatric massage.

Any experienced professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child’s needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided pediatric massage education throughout the world.

This course is provided as specialized continuing education to further your educational background in providing touch therapy for pediatric clients. This course does not provide certification to touch.

Course
Prerequisites:

You must already be certified, or licensed to touch, prior to attending this course. Proof of certification, or license to touch, is required in addition to your registration form, and course fees, in order to attend this course. Examples of certification and/or license to touch include: Massage Therapy Certification/License, Nursing License, Physician License, Physical or Occupational Therapist License. Other certifications may qualify you to attend course, please inquire.

Parents who wish to attend this course to provide touch therapy for their individual child(ren) are welcome after the Teacher approves your attendance. Please contact us if you are a parent interested in attending.

CPMT Guide (included with course registration fees, provided in class)

* Supplies – please bring massage linens for hands-on practice in class
